Job Title: Experienced Die-Cutter Operator
Location: Kettering, NN15 6JQ
Salary: Dependent upon experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday (30 mins break) / 07:30 – 14:00 Friday (30 mins break)
We are seeking an experienced Die Cutter to join our dynamic production team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in die-cutting operations, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate die-cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
· Complete and record daily machine health and safety pre-use checks according to the prescribed health and safety protocol for each machine.
· Read and interpret job specifications and production schedules.
· Manual handling of raw materials into the machine.
· Ensure machine key performance indicators (KPI’s) and specified run rates are achieved
· Record all daily outputs, waste, and any production issues on production timesheet.
· Job rotation with other machines to cover absence when required.
· Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
· Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
· Monitor production output and minimise waste.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.
· Adopt a flexible approach to ensure business requirements are met.
· Adhere to company policies and procedure at all times.
· Any other reasonable request made by management team.
About you:
Essential Experience:
· Proven experience operating an automatic die-cutting machines.
· Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
· Ability to read technical drawings and job instructions.
· Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good communication skills and great team player.
· Flexible approach to overtime when required.
Desirable Experience:
· Experience with Bobst or similar die-cutting equipment.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations within manufacturing.
